my blog is rather dead. after that went back to qps. gosh. Ok. let me just say that out of the sec 2s only me and nancy went back. SO. basically we saw a lot of last year's p6 batch who is sec 1 this year and of course did NOT recognise any of them, and we were feeling so OLD. *hem hem* plus there was all the little kids running around and stuff... SO. we went up to our ex-form teacher's class (yes they still had classes today after celebrations), and it JUST happened that she was scolding them and the two of us was like, float past the window all smiles and everything and inside the mood is SO solemn?!?!?!? then she made them all go stand outside the classroom and we two follow her to staff room. >.<> My description was like this: (I rushed it out with a semi-unconcious brain)
i shall bring it to life now. XD
am blogging coz i feel like it. :)
....
....
....
what did i want to blog about? oh shit. cannot remember. AH wells.
lets start off with today, ACES day then! I shall mention again for the sake of you all who dont know, ACES does not stand for 'all children exercise simultaneously' but 'all children exercise stupidly'. yes. so we went in the morning and did the routine and watched the performance. It was rather OK, lah. The teachers sang the M1 song (i'm walking on sunshine), superstition, and the hey hey hey english song kelly sang during project superstar. the reason also, and ermz let me think what else. UGH. It doesnt matter anyway right. So all in all it was rather high, lah.
YES.
now i shall proceed on to talk about our music (keyboard) presentation the other day.
Basically we became fictional characters who were all at least 21 years old of age and were in a partnership and were bidding for a recording project.
Ms Jessie Li QiaoHe is currently 22 years of age, with a Doctoral Decree in the category of the fine arts and music industry. She has also attained a Diploma in the University of Toronto, one of the leading music schools in the world. She has been praised numerous times by teachers during her school years and performed her first solo performance at the tender age of 8 at the Singapore Esplanade. She is a well-known pianist in the Asia-Pacific region with such outstanding achievements in music at such a young age of 22.
Aha. Now u all can laugh.
hahahahhahahahahahhahaha.
anyway. so due to my sore throat (AGAIN) I couldnt present lah, so we thought up a 'creative' reason for why i wasnt presenting. So, on 30th august 2005, Ms Jessie Li was away at the Globe Theatre performing a live music piece for the century-famous drama performance Romeo and Juliet. *applause*
thank you thank you.
so other groups who couldnt finish recording their chosen piece by that lesson cooked up excuses like members being hospitalised and stuff, while the one (me) who is really sick in real life ended up in the globe theatre.and somehow roti pratas got dragged into the picture. So after this group who said somthing about roti pratas finished presenting, the next group came up and said "one of our members ate the reccommended roti prata by the previous group at upper thomson road and was diagonised of food poisoning and was hospitalised. Hence we were unable to finish recording our piece."
I laughed like siao.
Oh by the way our piece was Titanic. Classical, eh? and our company name was Aqua Musique Pte Ltd. Tagline 'where music flows smoothly like the waves of an ocean'.
Who knows, maybe someday there will be this company.
NEXT.
I shall blog about SL. It already ended, so, just a bit to go down in the memory lane.
1. Jairus Boh aka JB johor bahru.
my student leh, MY student leh. heheheheh. not much of a problem maker lah, quite obedient overall. clap clap. was there as a witness when i incredibly unceromoniously fell down. AHHHHHH. XP Chinese standard actually not bad but must yong gong more. ahhh.... do you feel enlightened now? (what crap am i talking about) anyway he always go and help us pick up ping pong balls NICCEEEE siah. :D
2. Zoe
only girl. chinese standard not bad also, not sure why she ended up here though. :p SYY's student. Quite, umz, castout because according to the boys they were men and she was a woman. The youngsters nowadays ah.... dunno where they get all these weird ideas from sia. HongChuan's kid.
3. Nicholas Goo aka NG (according to syy stands for no good)
always rebutts syy when she's 'teaching'. a bit of attitude problem? But at least got turn up for lessons right.... not like someone who will be mentioned later on in this post. OH. and insists that if syy can speak english in class why cant he. X)
4. Gregory Loh aka MR Loh.
NOW. some serious business avec this kid. hahahahahhahahhaha and this is funny monkey business. Jasmin's kid. Jasmin likes him a lot leh!!!! got brother-sister qin xiang ah??? Orh-hor.... ANyway, there was this ultra-memorable lesson whereby syy was conducting one to one conversation with they all. Then I ran over and conduct with her. SO, we were talking talking den suddenly gregory looked down at his pants and said to syy:" DONT LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!" I was like, look wad look??!?!??! And SYY was like, i WAS not looking!!!!!! den i discovered that gregory was talking about syy looking at his pants which has a hole near the private area. And I immediately burst out laughing and of course, everyone turned to look. And for the rest of that lesson gregory sat with his legs crossed like a girl. SO FUNNY leh hahahahhahahah.
ahem.
oh, and he cried coz he couldnt answer the questions posed by us. aiyoyo.... and ermz, i have to say this but, the worst chinese standard in that bunch.
5. Keith Kua aka KK (women's hospital)
I shall just quote from SYY's blog about KK.
Quote SYY:"well, let us just say that he asks alot of "why?"s and he is the main culprit for Mr. Loh's crying fit. besides that, he is overly helpful. overly OVERLY helpful, so when we call some ppl to answer qns, you can often find him whispering the 50% correct answer to them."
yes.
OK and now since I have to go eat lunch I shall quote about the remaining two from syy's blog.
again, all information below is courtsey of cestmonfaute.blogspot.com copyright 2005.
THE LEAST SEEN KID: Jonas Pek (aka JPEG)
this guy, i only saw him twice [in my memory lane] and hong chuan said that THIS KID SAID HE LOOK LIKE JAY CHOU'S EYES CAN? i mean, i think he said his eyes look like jay chou. OMG, NO, HIS EYES LOOK LIKE JAY CHOU'S EYES. YES!!!I MEAN, NO!!! he is a liar. he got white circles on his eyes (like swimmer eyes liddat. not nice!) while jay chou got mole eyes.
THE FORGOTTEN: Angelica Ong
Came for about 1 lesson, then vanished forever. always give you that you-are-so-stupid-look then answers either in english or french. fuck. think she so smart.
Yes, and with that ended our colourful and meaningful SL journey for this year.wont forget them. :)
I think it doesnt really matter how many hours we got, its the experience that I really enjoyed. I mean, compare ours (1h a time) to childcare/babysitting (4h a time), which one is more meaningful? Well i think ours is definitely more meaningful. Not only the kids learnt something from us (hopefully they did!), but we also learnt something about life experience from them. I mean, child sitting everybody can do. But tutoring is actually a very hard job and after this SL journey I think we all learnt to appreciate our teachers more. (JUST happened that tml is teacher's day. take this as a little tribute then (= lol.)
So yeah. Thank you Jairus Keith Gregory Zoe Nicholas. Hope you all wont forget us either. :D
