the golf competition was sho fun!
I had the greatest time ever!
had bit of a trouble finding laguna... :p but there was a guy who was on the train all the way with me from tiong bahru and to tanah merah then transferred on the same 35 bus then arrived at laguna so i followed him all the way and didn't manage to get lost :)
then when i reached went to register and pratise.
altogether 5 stations in skills div.... we started with iron shots, wood shots, putting, chipping, and finally pitching. total of 42 points. i got 12. :P
hey... that's not bad kaez! i was second in my bunch of raffles sec ones.
halfway through coach jason and another person ask me and marrisa go for some photoshoot thingy. we both sae we not very photogeneic and got away :)
iron shots that time a whole bunch of guys and gals were watching. make us sho nervous.
wood shots we didn't even learn.
putting was quite okay larh. except that fatty guy marc was shouting 'if any of u drag ur feet on that expensive green i'm gonna make sure u r out of the competition!'
chipping was... okay also lah.
pitching we didn't get trained too. Renu got one ball in the inner circle leh! wah so pro one...
then we went to play some arcade games. lol.

then it was high tea time! well it is also almost equal to buffet dinner lah.
it is one of those kinds of wedding dinner bouquet... except this time u r there without ur parents, without those adults, but with people of the same interests with you and of the same age!
had spaghetti and chicken wing + drumstick.

then was prize-presentation time. for skills div they took top 50 people. with my pathetic score of 12 i managed to snag a 48th. not bad kaez.... except for me and rachel the rest of sec ones din get anything.
i got a bear named huggy and 3 golf balls.
everybody got a certificate to certify that we passed phase 1. only prob was that they spelled most of our names wrongly, including mine.
ACS(I) guys were sho like... proud or smth. kept on shouting their school's name when announcing the top school in diff. divs.
there were altogether 14 schools in the youth golf programme leh.
then went home with sim joo :)
took shuttle from laguna to simei mrt with that same mysterious geeky guy whom i followed all the way. lol.
left simmi alone when i got off at tiong bahru :D

dying to go ice-skating again. :)
